Located in the heart of the city, a commercial building was renovated to create a two bedroom residence for a couple in their 60's. Drawing inspiration from hill station cottages, the foyer and wrap around corridor feature Mangalore tile roofing. A blend of patterned tiles and terracotta tile flooring tie the spaces together. The clients boasted of a collection of beautiful wood furniture that drove the design of the space to accommodate them. Pops of color highlight the different spaces like the foyer, bedrooms and outdoor sit outs.
