Located in Chennai, an old home was brought down to make way for a family triplex apartment. A combination of brick cladding and neutral textured walls clad the architecture. The design was an incorporation of all the woodwork that was present in the old house - the staircase was reused in its entirety, as were all the doors and windows, and even the bits of stained glass and teak wood furniture. Rattan and marble tie the home together across the floors with brass accents to add relief in the lighting and hardware.
